A Community Home School Co-op allows your child to have clear direction throughout their day of signing in and out of classes, facilitation and recapping of assignments, help with organization and the opportunity to socialize safely with small class sizes and children from other COVID-19 safe families.
I have been working in education since 2008. I specialize in helping youth self-advocate and find their voice through evidence based interventions and mindfulness. In addition to their existing curriculum, CHSC provides a tool kit for sensory processing and self- regulation. Children learn skills that can transcend to real life situations through the pivotal moments of conflict and compromise. I take great pride in the progress and success of all students, and look forward to helping you and your child! Get in touch to schedule an intake for the 2021-22 school year.

Initial Intake
Building a trusting relationship with the child is of utmost importance. Having a humanizing disposition and getting to know the child's interests and using their background as reference will help us to launch into educational and therapeutic accord.
Consistency
The current pandemic has increased mental health issues in children aged 5-16. In Massachusetts, districts switched from fully remote to hybrid, causing disruptions in consistency. Children thrive on routine. My evidence based therapeutic creativity interventions and stable, consistent learning environment will help guide children to build resiliency and learn to adapt self-soothing de-escalation strategies as life skills transcendent to real world situations.
